I want them all. I don’t care if I already own too many. All. Mine. Now.

This is two coats of Miss Bossy Pants from the Sephora by OPI Glee Collection. It’s a bright raspberry with an opalescent blue sheen. I’ll probably buy the full sized bottle, I really dig it.

Love this combo, it’s almost as if I had Chanel Jade (I wish! ) with it’s gold shimmer over a creamy mint. The combo is Essie Mint Candy Apple (2 coats) with OPI’s Sit Under The Apple Tree as a top coat.

I haven’t forgotten about these. This is three coats of OPI’s Sit Under The Apple Tree. This applies wonderfully but as I’ve said I’m no fan of sheers, I figured though since I have it, might as well use it. This is the same color I used as a top coat when I did my yellow nails.

Sephora by OPI in Mash Up from the Glee collection. I am in love with this color. This is two coats. Depending on the light you get shots of blue, green, purple, pink, it’s so multifaceted I’m sad the photo doesn’t capture it all.

I have a meeting to go to so I went a little more professional today. This is two coats of OPI’s Chocolate Moose. I like it alright, it’s not looking so great since I did it this morning before heading out to work (I usually do them the night before to give time to dry) and my right hand is messed up because I went through my wallet for my metro card so all the cards poked at my polish. Whoops.

Sephora by OPI - Hell to the No! from the Glee Collection. It’s a really pretty purple with a gold shimmer. This is about after a week of wear so it holds up pretty well (granted I have seche vite as a top coat). In a related story, I wish the Sephora by OPI nail polishes had the same brush as the regular OPI ones.

OPI - Lucky Lucky Lavender
Beautiful creamy lilac color. Nice application, took three coats to be completely opaque.

My Nail Polish Collection

Upon some prodding I decided to photograph and make note of my entire nail polish collection - a whopping 66 colors. I admit I just placed an order for some of the Glee collection just put out at Sephora and I am still in search for the perfect cream opaque baby pink (please share your suggestions), and an opaque cream white to wear under my sheers.

Storage wise I have a nail polish rack I got as a gift that is supposedly fit for 70 bottles. I will need to either get rid of some or get more storage space for the incoming ones. Likely it’ll be the former since there were many colors gifted to me that I’m not really feeling. I’d like to point out a good chunk of my collection is gifted. When people ask what should they buy me for birthdays or holidays, after a bunch of rounds of “nothing, really” I finally say nail polish to be left alone since you can find it in a cheap price range so I don’t feel guilty over people overspending.

If you see any color you’d like me to try and review let me know. I’m pretty certain I’ve worn each one at least once.

So let’s get this started:

I think I’ll upload my nail colors regularly now. Today I went way out of my comfort zone. What had happened was (you can sense my New Yorkness in that) my friend Rebecca could not get over the fact I own a yellow nail polish and swore I would never wear it. Because she called me out, I finally bit the bullet and wore it today.

I genuinely bought this nail polish on a whim only because I didn’t have a yellow in my collection. It’s by a company named Prevail and the color is called “Taxi! Taxi!” The formula is streaky and a bit thick as you can tell but I only used one coat. It looked a bit chalky despite being a cream so I topped it off with a sheer that I got from a goody bag from a benefit I went to. It’s by OPI and called “Sit Under the Apple Tree.” I actually really liked the combination. The light apple green shimmery shade made the yellow a lot less harsh and more wearable. It applies like a dream, I’d wear it on its own if it weren’t so sheer.
