In all honesty the game started and their helmets inspired me. I did my nails as they played so I would’ve worn this win or lose but they’re so much more gleeful with a win.
Current nails: Essie “Over The Knee” with one coat of Revlon Nail Enamel in “Sparkling” over it. I’m sad the camera doesn’t pick up how pretty the glitter actually is, but trust it looks better in person.
bday nails. I was going to do Mean & Green from MAC in order to incorporate both kittybutler & nanastley’s suggestions of purple and green since it does both. But then paquin came in and said I should alternate colors, and since I shockingly do not have enough greens to do the comparison, I went with purple shades. On my thumb and middle finger is two coats of Essie’s Merino Cool, on my pointer and pinky finger is two coats of Sephora by OPI’s Don’t Go There and on my ring finger is a base of Sephora by OPI’s Domestic Goddess topped with two light coats of Sephora by OPI’s Too Good For Him. All are topped with one coat of Sally Hansen’s Mega Shine top coat.

Prepping for tonight’s awesome True Blood premier party! Nails are my love so tonight I’ll be rocking Essie’s Bordeaux as a homage to Fangtasia. Soon as these are done and set, I’ll be whipping up some red velvet cupcakes to bring. Looking forward to some Talbot Sangria tonight!

This is Essie’s Smooth Sailing. It’s about a cornflower blue with a pearl shimmer, while it looks a little silver, it’s actually turquoise and pink shimmer in it. Love it.
Love this combo, it’s almost as if I had Chanel Jade (I wish! ) with it’s gold shimmer over a creamy mint. The combo is Essie Mint Candy Apple (2 coats) with OPI’s Sit Under The Apple Tree as a top coat.
My Nail Polish Collection
Upon some prodding I decided to photograph and make note of my entire nail polish collection - a whopping 66 colors. I admit I just placed an order for some of the Glee collection just put out at Sephora and I am still in search for the perfect cream opaque baby pink (please share your suggestions), and an opaque cream white to wear under my sheers.
Storage wise I have a nail polish rack I got as a gift that is supposedly fit for 70 bottles. I will need to either get rid of some or get more storage space for the incoming ones. Likely it’ll be the former since there were many colors gifted to me that I’m not really feeling. I’d like to point out a good chunk of my collection is gifted. When people ask what should they buy me for birthdays or holidays, after a bunch of rounds of “nothing, really” I finally say nail polish to be left alone since you can find it in a cheap price range so I don’t feel guilty over people overspending.
